a lil bit o'Jarom

Jarom had a school dance recently and they were supposed to dress up, he said the word "techno" and I was thinking he meant "retro" but I guess we'll never know how they were supposed to dress up. Jarom's friend at school, Taylor, has a very nice mom who offered to take them to Savers before the dance to get tacky suits. I picked him up AFTER the dance...anxious to see how he did with $10 at a thrift shop. Much to my surprise...

Pimp? Are you kidding me?

So all my "counseling" about matching and trips back to the room to "try again" really paid off huh? Don't you appreciate his use of purple mixed with a pattern, offset with the leopard print band on the fuzzy purple hat? I never dreamt it would be put together so well. Impressive. All under $10 at Savers!!

Now onto his Pirate Pants...
His pajama pants were waaay too long, Regan told him to go cut them. I squirmed but let him go do it...

After a few wash and wears...he had a nice, sexy slit going on up the back leg

So, after I got a couple memorable pics...to remind me that quite OBVIOUSLY I still have to "approve" what he's wearing and that I should teach him how to cut in a straight line...we've all voted that Jarom needs to get rid of his sexy pirate pants. Aaargh!
